  • The 3 months I lived in Bunyonyi were priceless. It was a life changing experience. I had the huge chance to share the everyday life of Ronald’s family. I felt part of the family the very first day. We were cooking together, dancing together, digging irish or sweet potatoes, beans, peas, talking way beyond sunset outside, enjoying the fire… I have so many memories with this kind hearted people. They are now my ugandan brothers and sister for sure.

  • Anything I write is hardly falttering enough for Ronald, his family, coworkers and their projects. It is very easy to feel at home with them and also to feel like you are making a contribution. They are decided to make progress in this beautiful part of the world, enable children to get proper education, help families sustain themselves, offer people swimming classes (as a great part of daily life is connected to the lake), bring as many doctors, health officers and medicine to the island and surrounding villages… So: it is a great and highly recommendable experience! Thank you Ronald 🙂
